Dr. Dan is an active member of the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Dawson Academy Alumni Association, Seattle Study Club, and Spear Study Club.

Mason City has been home for Dr. Burgmeier and his wife, Mary, for decades. They enjoy spending time with their four grown children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren, ranging in age from newborn to 10. Outside the office, he treasures family time, being active, and staying connected with the community he has proudly served for four decades.

Dr. Kyle Burgmeier

Born and raised in Mason City, Dr. Kyle Burgmeier is proud to serve the community that he has always called home. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He then completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, gaining advanced experience in multiple specialty areas of dentistry and in caring for patients with complex medical needs.

Dr. Burgmeier has completed a comprehensive implant curriculum through Restorative Driven Implants and now mentors other general dentists on their own implant journeys. Along with his advanced training through Spear Education in Scottsdale, Arizona, these programs have shaped his commitment to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dentistry. He also leads a local study club for dentists and specialists, and maintains active memberships in the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Seattle Study Club.

At home, Dr. Burgmeier and his wife, Aly (MCHS ’05), are raising their three children—Henry, Eleanor, and Josiah. Their family recently started a farmstead, where they enjoy raising chickens and gathering fresh eggs. Ask him about it at your dental visit, and your appointment might last a little longer (and you just might leave with some eggs!).
