Meet The Doctors

Dr. Dan Burgmeier

Dr Dan Burgmeier is a native Iowan.  Growing up and attending schools in Dubuque Iowa.  He then studied at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D., followed by graduating from the University Of Iowa College Of Dentistry in 1985.

Dr Burgmeier has concentrated his studies on comprehensive dental care including cosmetic dentistry, implants, full mouth rehabilitation, treating facial pain/TMJ and sleep dentistry.

Education is instrumental in fueling his passion of dentistry. Dr Burgmeier is actively involved in a number of dental organizations and study clubs to maintain his cutting edge approach for over 30 years.  He has attended courses through the Spear Education Center, and Center of Advanced Dental Studies in St Petersburg, FL.

His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, Dawson Alumi Association, Seattle Study Club and Spear Study Club.

Mason City has been home to Dr Burgmeier, his wife Mary and four grown children. They recently became proud grandparents of two baby boys.

Dr. Kyle Burgmeier

Born and raised in Mason City, Dr. Kyle Burgmeier attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN before attending the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Kyle sought further training at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he completed a one-year general practice residency. As part of his residency, Dr. Kyle received advanced training in many specialty areas of dentistry, including prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and periodontics. Being in a busy hospital setting, he also became familiar in dealing with patients with more complex medical conditions. Since his residency, Dr. Kyle has completed advanced coursework in dental implants through the Misch International Implant Institute and in comprehensive dentistry through Spear Education in Scotsdale, Arizona. Dr. Kyle leads a study club of local dentists and specialists and is a member of the Seattle Study Club. Dr. Kyle’s professional affiliations include the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Iowa State Dental Association.

Dr. Kyle has had the opportunity to serve on several short-term mission trips through the Christian Dental Society in Jamaica and plans to continue serving in this, and other mission fields throughout his career.

Dr. Kyle, his wife, Aly (MCHS ’05), and their son Henry call Mason City their home. When outside of the practice, you may find Dr. Kyle and his family golfing, cooking, hosting get togethers, contemplating projects around the house, spending time with friends and family, or perhaps enjoying a simple walk through their neighborhood.
