- Is the same-day crown procedure painful? The process is similar to receiving a traditional crown. We ensure your comfort with local anesthesia, and many patients find the digital scanning process more comfortable than traditional impressions.
- How long does a same-day crown appointment take? A same-day dental crown appointment typically takes between 90 minutes and three hours, depending on the complexity of the case and the number of teeth needs to be prepared. During that time, your tooth is prepared, digitally scanned, designed, milled, and permanently placed.
- How long do same-day crowns last? With proper care—including brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits—same-day crowns can last many years, often a decade or longer.
